As with human holidays, food is a very important part of the country club holiday experience. At Dogs Country Club & Kennel Resort this is no exception.

Our team of Doggy Doaters work to provide your dog daily with a delicious, nutritious and fresh meal to support their wellbeing. When you check your dog in with us we ask lots of questions about their typical diet at home, any habits or issues they may have around food, any allergies or dislikes they have and any feeding commands you may use with your dog. Extensive notes are kept from the information you provide and help us to provide your dog with the nutrition they need to have a great holiday.

OUR DAILY MENU INCLUDES:

Life Wise – A premium Australian made, preservative free, holistic dry food (we have a number of varieties including grain free)
Prime 100 – Cooked Meat and Vegetable Loaves. We also have a number of single protein cooked loaves for dogs with special dietary needs.
Wild Dog – Raw Food. For dogs on a raw food diet this is a balance meal of meat, organs, crushed bone, vegetable and minerals. We also have other raw meats available depending on your dogs requirements.
Fresh Chicken – cooked daily this is a real crowd pleaser.
Assorted Tinned Foods – including but not limited to tuna, salmon and sardnines – for the guests who are a little fussy
And we have been known to cook different meals for those of our super fussy guests.

FEEDING INFORMATION AND STRATEGIES:

One of the most commonly asked questions we get is “How many times do you feed each day?” and it is a great question.
Like all actions and activities at Dogs Country Club the individual needs of the guest determine their program while with us. The majority of our guests have two meals a day however we often have guests that might need more frequent smaller meals through the day, usually due to medical reasons, and we are happy to oblige. Some of our guest come to us a little heavier than is good for them and so we can work to help reduce some of this excess weight through exercise and restructuring their meals, larger meal in the morning and smaller meals in the evening. And for the doggies that are a little fussy we have been known to sit with guests and hand feed them to ensure they are getting the daily nutrition they require.
We also are able to provide raised eating platforms and scoff stoppers for the dogs that require them. Just speak to our team about your dog’s requirements.
