Advanced Medical & Rehabilitation Care
Back in 2007, when we started our journey at Dogs Country Club and Kennel Resort, we knew that we wanted to provide pet parents with options for the care of their dogs, no matter what their age, size or special needs were.
What we couldn’t predict was the amount of special needs dogs and the increase in rehabilitation required by our clients and our guests. We love caring for these special dogs and supporting their committed families to giving them the best life possible. Over the years word got out and these services were not only being recommended by our clients but also by Vets, other canine health professionals and other boarding facilities. In 2017 we decided that we wanted a facility dedicated to the care of these much loved guests and so We Love Dogs Kennel Resort was born. We still can care for guests with special needs at Dogs Country Club but with our second facility we are now confident that we will never have to say we are full to these special guests and their parents. We encourage you to learn more about We Love Dogs by speaking with our team of Doggy Doaters (who work across both facilities), read the information below, view our online tour or come and take an onsite tour during our tour times. |
GOLDEN OLDIES, ADVANCED MEDICAL NEEDS, GERIATRIC AND PALLIATIVE CARE
For any guests entering their golden years (of any breed) who may require advanced care including medical administration. We can provide old aged care, advanced age care and palliative care for these guests. If you think your dog falls into one of these care categories we would be more than happy to speak with you about how we can help you when you can’t be there for them. "We have two poodles aged 11 and 14 who are very happy in their 7 star home from home. The attention they receive is first class and I would have no hesitation in recommending we love dogs to anyone who wants total peace of mind that their dogs are being cared for."

REHABILITATION CARE
In a time when most of us lead busy lives and live in open planned homes, keeping a dog confined or monitored closely once they leave the Vet post-surgery can be a juggling act. We have always offered this as a service to our clients – the care of their canine for a short, medium or longer time after a medical procedure. We are able to offer confinement or limited movement as needed, any daily exercises throughout the rehabilitation process as well as close monitoring 24/7. We also can liaise regularly with yourself and your vet on the progress of your dog’s recovery and facilitate scheduled or emergency Vet visits as necessary. If you want the best recovery for your dog then speak to us about how we can help you achieve this goal. "As a Veterinary Clinic that has specific post-operative instructions for our patients after having orthopaedic surgery, we were most impressed with 'We Love Dogs, Kennel Resorts'.One of our clients recently had her own hip replacement surgery, and so booked her dog to have her patella stabilisation surgery at the same time. “We Love Dogs”, boarded Bella and rehabilitated her for a number of weeks after the surgery, until the owner was able to take her home. The dog was very well looked after and the surgery and post-operative care couldn't have gone better, from our point of view. Both owner and dog are walking much better and are well on the way to a full recovery.
