A professional couch potato, the Bull Terrier is an expert at being lazy and regular exercise is a must to keep them slim and mentally fit. A bored Bulli could equal unwanted home renovations (or demolition) if they are left home alone with nothing to do. The Bull Terrier is endlessly entertaining with its clownish antics and exaggerated body movements. They love constant companionship and aim to please. For this reason, they are easy to train providing they see you as their pack leader. They are a curious breed and one is often left wondering what must go through the Bulli’s head! These compact, muscular dogs make an excellent pet for anyone with lots of love to give and time to spare. They require little in the way of grooming but can get a bit ‘on the nose’ without regular bathing. Their coarse, short coat is tangle-free and a spot wash with a baby wipe on a regular basis will keep the Bull Terrier looking shiny and smelling lovely.
The Bull Terrier is a breed that has stood the test of time as an excellent companion and comedian. With their big hearts and smiles to match the Bulli is an addictive breed to own and will usually get along well with their own kind (sterilized mixed-sex pairs are always advisable) and most other breeds of dogs. Due to their vivacious nature and lack of awareness of their strength Bulli’s should be supervised around small children and other pets. Forever a pup, the Bull Terrier is a loving addition to the family and enriches the lives of all who get the pleasure of meeting them. With an average life span of 10 - 12 years, this classic breed is a fantastic companion that will keep you laughing (and keep your lap warm!) for many years.
